For a long time, I lived in a kind of darkness, exhausted, unwell, and doing everything I'd been told was healthy, while my body quietly fell apart. Finding my way out taught me something I now want to share with everyone: how to work with your body instead of against it.
For years, I was doing everything I thought I was supposed to do, and quietly falling apart. I was a personal trainer, a group fitness instructor, and a brain health coach. I earned my degree in health science and went straight into managing and teaching full time at a Pilates studio. I was surrounded by health, passionate about it, and running on empty the entire time.
And I was getting sicker. I kept developing new food sensitivities. I had skin reactions, stomach pain so severe that eating became something to dread, and a nervous system so dysregulated from chronic stress that I could barely sleep. I spent a long stretch of time exhausted, in pain, and slowly withdrawing from the life I loved. There were moments I genuinely wondered if I would ever feel like myself again. It was one of the darkest chapters of my life.
My response to all of it was the only one I'd ever been taught. Push harder. Train more. Do more. I didn't yet understand that I was pouring effort into the very thing that was breaking me down.
Eventually I was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, an immune condition where the body releases inflammatory chemicals in response to everyday triggers like food, stress, and environment. One of the first things I learned was that too much physical stress was raising my cortisol and making me worse. The very approach I'd built my life around was part of what was keeping me sick.
Slowly, I found my way toward the light. Not through a magic protocol or a perfect plan, but by learning to work with my biology instead of against it. Through real science, genuine rest, and building a life that actually supported my nervous system, I came home to myself, stronger, clearer, and more alive than I'd ever been.
And as I healed, I realized something that changed everything for me. My suffering hadn't come from a lack of effort or willpower. It came from a gap, a huge, painful gap in what we're taught about caring for ourselves. We're pushed toward more, harder, faster, and told to leave out the very things that actually make us well and make results last: our nervous system, our rest, our biology, our wholeness.
That gap is why Luminary Collective exists. I'm building this to bring awareness to what we were never taught, how to genuinely take care of ourselves, improve our quality of life, and create change that lasts. Not through force or restriction, but by understanding our bodies and working with them.
I believe, with everything in me, that you can activate your biology and elevate your existence. I know it's possible, because I lived it. I found my way out of the darkness, and more than anything, I want to help others find their way too. No one should have to struggle in the dark the way I did, simply because they were never given the full picture.
I built this for the woman who is working so hard and still feels off. The one who keeps starting over. The one who doesn't want another rigid plan, she wants to finally understand her own body and feel at home in it again.
And honestly, I built it for the version of myself who was so sick and so isolated she couldn't imagine ever feeling well again. She deserved so much better than the exhaustion she was told to push through. So do you. Wherever you are right now, you are not broken, and you are not too far gone. You were simply never shown how your body actually works, or how to work with it. That is exactly what I am here to change.
Luminary Collective exists to close the gap in how women are taught to care for themselves, to bring awareness to what truly creates lasting health, and to help women build strength, calm their nervous systems, and come home to their bodies. We believe wellness was never meant to be about force, restriction, or shrinking yourself. It's about understanding your biology and working with it, so you can feel strong, clear, and fully alive.
You are not broken, you were simply never given the full picture.
The mind, body, and nervous system are one connected system, and must be cared for together.
Lasting change comes from working with your biology, not against it.
True wellness includes the things you were told to leave out: rest, regulation, and wholeness.
You deserve to feel strong, clear, and fully alive in your own body.
Every journey begins with a conversation. This is your time to be heard, to share your story, your goals, and what you're hoping to feel in your body and your life.
